“It has been a long time since high German expressionistic theatre has been so confidently mounted in Australia by an Australian company and it deserves applause .”

The Australian

QUARTET

By HEINER MULLER

Catalysts for vision.

From the banned 18th century novel of letters, Les Liasons Dangereues, Muller’s apocalyptic vision of relationships and power, is played out in a nuclear bunker at the end of the world.

Trapped for all time, two aristocratic Dinosaurs play a cat and mouse game of sex and death, crossing the divides of gender, exploring the extremes of desire with a predatory hunger that leads to destruction and death.
