Hosted monthly at the Brink offices, the Writers’ Group is designed to support playwrights to continue developing their craft while building stronger connections with other writers and the industry. 

Supported by Brink and CreateSA, the 12 month program features workshops and conversations with nationally and internationally esteemed writers including two-time Griffin Award–winner Michele Lee, Olivier Award Winner Suzie Miller, and celebrated writer for both stage and screen – Andrew Bovell.

The Writers’ Group is made up of 12 South Australian writers including; Alexis West, Astrid Pill, Ellen Graham, Emily Steel, Finegan Kruckemeyer, Hew Parham, Jannali Jones, Luke Wiltshire, Rebecca Meston, Sam Lau, Tahli Corin and Verity Laughton, who come together each month for the opportunity to share work, creative processes as well as industry connections and experiences.
