DIRECTOR

Danielle is an award-winning Malaysian-Australian actor, writer, theatre maker and producer who graduated from Flinders Drama Centre in 2021. She is passionate about championing Asian-Australian stories on stage and screen, hoping to inspire more Asian-Australians to pursue an arts career. She has performed independently and worked with various arts companies, including ActNow Theatre, State Theatre Company South Australia, Windmill Theatre, South Australian Playwrights Theatre, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Fastbreak Films, Carclew, and DreamBIG Festival.

In 2025, Danielle was the recipient of the ActNow Theatre MakeSpace x Adelaide Fringe Residency. Most recently, she completed a national tour of her critically acclaimed solo show, Caught In Between, which was shortlisted for Best in Theatre at Sydney Fringe.

As a producer and arts worker, Danielle has worked with both local and interstate arts companies, including ActNow Theatre, Contemporary Asian Australian Performance, Australian Plays Transform, and OzAsia Festival. She is currently working as the Engagement Coordinator at Vitalstatistix, as well as building her producing practice within the independent sector.
