A DREAM PLAY

By AUGUST STRINDBERG. NEW VERSION BY MAY-BRIT AKERHOLT + BENEDICT ANDREWS.

Anything is possible.
Drawing on hypnotism, seances, early photography and dreamy jazz songs, Brink takes Strindberg’s expressionistic and visionary work to the edge of reality and beyond.

Scenes and characters fade into one another. Time and place do not exist. Everything operates with the crazy logic of a dream.

Our dreams lift the veil on our secret desires and repressions. This potent new version of a classic work shows the theatre can still do the same.
