ABOUT

Luke Wiltshire is a passionate transgender actor and writer, who graduated from Flinders Drama Centre in 2023. Most notably he is known for his leading role in the award-winning short film; With Love, Lottie (dir. Lily Drummond), which has most recently been nominated for the Iris Prize, and just screened at the Sydney Film Festival and Raindance Film Festival in 2025.
On stage, Luke just finished a highly successful season of Rumbleskin (dir. Alonso Pineda) at fortyfivedownstairs. He has previously starred in Daddy Algorithm (dir. Ellen Wiltshire), which had a highly successful season in Gluttony as a part of the Adelaide Fringe. He has also featured in Edge (dir. Connor Reidy) for The Cram Collective and was invited back to perform as a Drama Centre Alumni in the show Whore (dir. Hannah Smith).

His self-performed, autobiographical play Squid has been awarded several grants and was most recently awarded the inSPACE Residency with Brink Productions. As a result, a work-in-progress showing of the play was performed in the Adelaide Festival Centre, directed by Stephen Nicolazzo in 2025. Squid is currently continuing development with Stephen through Brink Productions.
Luke looks forward to working as a playwright in Theatre Republic’s upcoming project, Future:Present 3.0, which will perform in October 2025.
